Best of Uganda, Gorilla Safari, Wildlife and Water Sports - 6 Days

(Kampala- Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park - Queen Elizabeth - Kampala - Jinja- Kampala)

Highlights

The safari begins in Kampala Uganda and ends in Kampala. You will visit the famous Bwindi impenetratable national park home to the Mountain Gorillas, Queen Elizabeth national park and the Jinja source of the river Nile. These areas have vast vegetations and wide range of wildlife you will come close to the gorillas and you will be allowed to take photos for :You will be accommodated in gorilla forest camps Buhoma homesteads ,Nile cradle hotels in Jinja and the imperial hotel Kampala this is one of the most adventurous safari with unforgettable experience.

Itinerary

Day 1: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After breakfast you will be picked by our tour manager from residence then Depart from Kampala by road and head south-West to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a short stop for photographic opportunity. Another stop for lunch. Your drive will take you through Uganda rolling green hills through the highlands; your road will then head even higher to where you can see the triangular peaks of the Virunga volcanoes of Rwanda and the Congo. We then drop down into a valley, to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the Mountain Gorilla. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma homestead or Gorilla Forest Camp

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park - Gorilla Tracking
After breakfast you will gatherer for guided at the entry point into the gorilla sanctuary. The guide will take you through the e bush cutting away thickets of rain forest. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours with Park Guides interpreting the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. Once spotted you will have maximum of 1 hour to sit and take photographs of the gorillas.

The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure. The gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. If you will have an afternoon you will a guided village walk (optional.)

Dinner and overnight at Buhoma homestead or Gorilla Forest Camp

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park- Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast take with your lunch boxes and head to the queen Elizabeth national park. Have rest of day for game drive in the park.

Queen Elizabeth National Park's diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. Game drives in this park, with the massive Ruwenzori as backdrop, provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, buffalo, elephant, Defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck. These two game drives and the boat trip.

Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or the Jacana Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park- Kampala
After breakfast take depart to Kampala for arriving ready for dinner. Lunch will be served enroute. You will spend the evening relaxing after a long journey. Dinner and Overnight at Speke Hotel - Kampala

Day 5: Kampala - Jinja
Early morning breakfast after which you will depart to Jinja and then to Bujagali falls on the River Nile. Gather all the equipment and the costumes for surfing you will be give a guide will row you down the river and tackle the smallest waves. Buffer lunch at Wakisi Island followed by whole afternoon water rafting, though this trip sounds very adventurous, this river can accommodate any level of rafter. You do not have to have rafted before to have a good time. You can choose a raft where you get to paddle or one where you enjoy an easier ride with someone else doing all the rowing. Dinner and overnight at Jinja Nile Resort.

Day 6: Jinja – Kampala
After breakfast, head down to the ‘Kayak Session” ramp and launch yourselves onto the Nile for the half day section. Guides will lead you down different lines to suit your ability giving detailed descriptions of the rapids and scouting where necessary. After lunch go for a quick bungee jump (optional) this huge spectacular rapid offers an exhilarating ride for the very skilled and very brave. Guides will be at hand to advice on all the different lines during the day. . You will have an exhilarating and memorable experience.Evening you will depart for Kampala for evening and overnight stay at Speke Hotel as you await your transfer to Entebbe international airport for your departure flight departure.

- all airport transfer to/from Airport on arrival and departure date
- Park entrance fee.
- All meals and accommodations on safari
- Service of an English speaking driver guide
- Transport based on a 4WD safari vehicle with pop up roof for game viewing
- Driver allowances and park fees for vehicle and driver
- Game drives as per the Itinerary
- Any applicable taxes

-Chimp permits per person @US$ 70
-Gorilla permit per person @US$ 500
- Extras at the lodges i.e. drinks, telephone, laundry etc.

Water rafting US$ 85 half a day, US$ 95 full day.
Bungee jumping US$55 per jumping.
White water surfing US$ 85 half day.
