12 Days/ 11 Nights: Luxurious Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar Beach Holiday

This is a twelve day safari that will take you to Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife parks, such as Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park, and Tarangire Game Park followed by a unique tour of the Spice of Zanzibar located in the Indian Ocean and a beach holiday destination for many holiday makers. You will stay in mid to top- range lodges and travel in 4x4 tour minivan for the duration of your trip.

Day 1: Nairobi- Arusha, Tanzania
After breakfast at the Hotel, you will depart the Hotel for your trip to Arusha via a shuttle bus; as you enjoy the scenic beauty of Kenya’s and Tanzania’s fields and grasslands, arriving in Arusha in time for lunch where you will be met by our tour manager. After Lunch in Arusha, you will be transferred to Impala Hotel where you will spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Impala Hotel or similar.

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast begin your Tanzania Safari; spend the day game view driving in Tarangire National Park. With picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge

This park offers wide panoramas of open acacia woodland and grass savanna, where huge herds of Elephants (often two hundred strong) and other unique residents, such as fringe-eared Oryx and Lesser Kudu roam free, Lion, Cheetah and Leopard.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast we continue with our northern Tanzania safari proceed to Serengeti National Park passing through Ngorongoro Conservation, Malanja Depression towards Olduvai Gorge. This desert like gorge lies at the foot of the Ngorongoro highlands and is famous for the remains of vast numbers of animals that lived ages ago. We will visit the museum featuring the famous Zinjanthropus skull, the Zinjanthropus men of 1.8 million years ago, whose remaining were found here by Dr. Leakey. Picnic lunch as we enter the Serengeti National Park and drive toward Seronera River Valley en route game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the Serengeti Serena Lodge

Serengeti National Park is the leading park in terms of wildlife numbers in Tanzania, and is the second largest in Africa after Kruger National park in South Africa. More than 3 million wildlife species live in this park. The park is also renowned for the great wildebeest migration to Kenya, with a distance of up to 40 kilometers between the first and the last wildebeest.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park.
Today enjoy your great day of Safari exploring the famous Serengeti is a big as Northern Ireland looking for wildlife and in particular the Lion, which are in plenty in the park. You will have packed lunch. Dinner and overnight stay at the Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater.
Another day on Safari today we start our safari with morning game drive in Serengeti National Park with picnic lunches head off via Simba Kopjes, Naabi Hill Gate were we will stop to enjoy one of the most memorable picnic lunches in your life at this plains of Serengeti, drive towards Ngorongoro conservation area. We will stop on the crater rim for the view of stupendous Ngorongoro crater and you can admire this masterpiece of Mother Nature. Dinner and overnight stay at our safari lodge which poised in a prime position on the eastern rim of the crater are thatched rondavels housing the deluxe suites of the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

In addition to the Ngorongoro crater; renowned for its diverse wildlife population such as the king of the jungle, the Lion, Leopard, Hyena and a variety of birds, Ngorongoro Conservation is one of the four wonders of the world, a place where the first human being started life. It is known to be perhaps the only place in Tanzania and in Africa where wildlife and human co-existence is evident in the conservation. The Olduvai Gorge and is another famous attraction in Ngorongoro, home to the first human footprints.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater- Lake Manyara National Park.
After breakfast, spend the morning game drive viewing and visit other attractions such as the Olduvai Gorge. You will have a picnic lunch at Olduvai Gorge. Thereafter transfer to Lake Manyara National park arriving late afternoon, go for an afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Lake Manyara National Park is endowed with tree-climbing lions in very striking surroundings in the park, as well as hippos observed at close range, elephants and super bird life such as flamingoes. The lake vegetation ranges from savanna to marshes and acacia woodland and thus supports a variety of habitats. Recently, canoe safaris on the lake are the latest added attraction.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park- Arusha.
After breakfast , spend the morning in the park in search of Africa’s wildlife with a picnic lunch ,thereafter Late pm proceed to Impala Hotel in Arusha, spending the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Impala Hotel.

Day 8: Arusha - Zanzibar.
After breakfast if time permits We will pick you up from your hotel for complimentary tour of city of Arusha, You will have the chance to walk in main shopping area of the town and market for buying souvenirs and exploring the town, thereafter proceed to Arusha Airport for flight to Zanzibar Island best known as the 'spice Island'. Shortly after arriving you will be met by our tour manager then transferred to Zanzibar Beach Resort for rest and relaxation. Dinner and overnight at Zanzibar Beach Resort or similar

Zanzibar boasts of spectacular beaches and fascinating cultures that history has ever had. Coupled with the magnificent town architecture, courtyards, bazaars, mosques, squares Shirazi remains and Persian baths, Zanzibar remains one of the most frequented tourist destinations.

Day 9: Zanzibar Beach holiday
After breakfast, go for a Stone Town tour; including going up to the Spice Plantation, have early lunch in the town, thereafter return to the hotel where you will spend the afternoon at leisure and beach relaxation at the beach which overlooks the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Zanzibar Beach Resort or similar

Day 10-11: Zanzibar Beach holiday
today spend the day enjoying yourself in the beach, with lunch at the hotel, as you indulge in complete beach relaxation and water sports such as scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing or sunbathing. Dinner and overnight at Zanzibar Beach Resort or similar

Day 12: Zanzibar – Zanzibar Airport- Departure.
Spend the morning in the beach engaging in various beach activities, or alternatively take a tour to Zanzibar town for shopping, have lunch, then transfer to the Zanzibar Airport for your flight to your next destination.
