Day 1: Travel to Kigoma

On arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be met and assisted to your flight to Kigoma. Once here you'll be collected from the airport and transferred to the Kigoma Hilltop Hotel. The rest of the afternoon is spent at your leisure exploring the hotel grounds, relaxing by the pool or even enjoying a game of tennis.

Days 2-3 : See Chimps at Gombe Stream

After breakfast, you depart northwards by boat to Gombe Stream National Park (around 1.5 - 2 hr) for 3 days of chimpanzee treks and forest walks. While here you can spend time with the chimps, or you can enjoy guided nature walks through the forest. Chimp trekking is highly regulated and you are permitted only to spend 1 hour with them.

Day 4: Return to Kigoma

An early transfer will take you back to Kigoma where you will set off on a sightseeing tour of Ujiji town and visit Dr Livingstone's memorial. Enjoy lunch at Kigoma Hilltop Hotel before transferring to the airport for your outbound flight.
