Trip Highlights: This is a seven days camping safari into some of the best wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival-Lake Naivasha-Maasai Mara National Reserve.
On your arrival, you will be met by our tour manager who will brief you on your safari as you depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve, through the Great Rift Valley. On the way you will visit Lake Naivasha, which is part of the Great Rift Valley, for bird watching. Arriving at Maasai Mara National Reserve early enough you will take your lunch at Big Time Camp and thereafter proceed for an afternoon Game drive till dusk.

Lake Naivasha is home to a variety of wildlife; over 400 different species of bird have been reported. There is a sizeable population of hippos in the lake. There are two smaller lakes in the vicinity of Lake Naivasha: Lake Oloiden and Lake Sonachi (a green crater lake). The Crater Lake Game Sanctuary lies nearby, while the lake shore is known for its population of European immigrants and settlers.

The Masai Mara National Reserve as one of the most popular tourist destinations in Kenya covers an area of over 1,500 sq. km. it is located in the Great Rift valley in an open primarily grassland where wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserves western escarpment. Day 2 : Maasai Mara Game Reserve

A Maasai Homestead (enkang popularly known as the Manyattas) is made from cow dung and wooden sticks from the leleshwa plant. Women are the ones responsible for putting up these magnificent homes. However, a homestead contains several Maasai houses which are surrounded by a fence made also by branches of the leleshwa plant where the herds of goats and cows are confined in during the night hours. There are other Manyattas made far away in the wilderness during their Morans as they prepare their headset, the motonyik, before they return home.

Day 3 : Maasai Mara-Lake Nakuru National Park-Aberdares National Park.
Take your breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive at the park around noon get your lunch and go for an afternoon Game drive.

Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in central Kenya and is protected by a small Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake's abundance of algae attracts the vast quantity of flamingos that famously lines the shore. Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Black and White rhinos have also been introduced.
Lake Nakuru National Park (188 km²), created in 1961 around Lake Nakuru, near Nakuru Town. It is best known for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores. The surface of the shallow lake is often hardly recognizable due to the continually shifting mass of pink. The number of flamingoes on the lake varies with water and food conditions and the best vantage point is from Baboon Cliff. Also of interest is an area of 188 km around the lake fenced off as a sanctuary to protect Rothschild giraffes and black rhinos.
Late in the afternoon you will leave for Aberdares National park, getting there in the evening.

Day 4 : Aberdares National Park.
Pre-breakfast Game viewing followed by a morning and an afternoon Game drive the whole day.

The park contains a wide range of landscapes - from the mountain peaks that rise to 14,000 feet (4,300 m) above sea level, to their deep, v-shaped valleys intersected by streams, rivers, and waterfalls. Moorland, bamboo forests and rainforests are found at lower altitudes. Animals easily observed include the lion, leopard, baboon, black and white Colobus monkey, and sykes monkey.

Day 5 : Aberdares National Park- Samburu National Reserve.
Pre-breakfast Game viewing followed by breakfast then depart for Samburu National Park arriving there late afternoon for an afternoon Game drive after lunch.

Another exploration of this harshly beautiful reserve where game bounds, especially in the forest fringes of the Ewaso Nyiro River ‘which flows gently through the dry landscape. Lunch is followed by an afternoon leisure, perhaps by the pool .Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Samburu National Reserve is a wildlife haven. Here you will spot Africa’s big cats - lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Some animals are unique to this northern Kenya Park: Gravy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, kudu and gerenuk. The Ewaso Nyiro River, the boundary with the neighboring Buffalo Springs National Reserve, is where the elephants, buffalo and other animal species gather for a drink. You will find the scenic semiarid landscape quite dramatic.

Day 6 : Samburu National Reserve.
After breakfast you will depart for a morning and an afternoon visit to Samburu villages. You will have your lunch in the course of the drive.

The reserve is located within the lands of the colourful semi-nomadic Samburu tribesmen. The reserve is home to rare drought resistant animals that are peculiar to the semi-arid region north of the equator. These include the reticulated giraffe, grevy’s zebra, the Beisa Oryx, gerenuk and the blue-shanked Somali ostrich. Samburu is dry most of the year but is watered by the Ewaso Nyiro River, which rises in the Aberdare’s and drains in the Lorian swamp north of Shaba National Reserve.
Samburu is north of the equator and contains rare, drought resistant animal species, which go for long periods of time without water. These include the reticulated giraffe, grevy’s zebra, the blue-shanked Somali ostrich, the gerenuk or giraffe gazelle and the beisa oryx. In the late afternoon (at an extra cost), go for optional activities like having a nature walk, visiting Samburu villages to see the nomadic lifestyle or swimming in the nearby lodges.

Day 7 : Samburu National Park-Shaba National Reserve-Nairobi.
Leave after an early breakfast for Shaba National Reserve. On arrival you will be taken for a morning Game drive then depart after lunch for Nairobi for you departure.
Shaba game reserve is a semi desert with a rugged hilly terrain, with great rocky kopjes (small isolated hills) and lots of springs supporting the abundant wildlife. The solitary mountain rises to 2,145m from an otherwise flat area. The steep ascents require. This place is replant with klipspringer and hyrax who love the hills. The specialties that can only be found in this part of the world are the gravy zebra, the Somali ostrich, generuk and the reticulated giraffe and gazelles the lesser kudu leopard and plenty of lion and herds of elephants and plenty of bird life and other small game.
