This is a 10 days safari whereby you will be able to enjoy the best of Kenya's Game viewing .You will visit the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is also the 7th wonder of the world, and other top destination Game Reserves including; Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli National Park. During your stay here, you will travel alone with our tour guide/driver in a private minibus van and you will stay in tented camps because your satisfaction and comfort during your tour is our first priority.

Itinerary

Grevys ZebraDay 1: Arrival – Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve
Upon your arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will immediately be met and received by our Tour Manager who will then brief you on your Safari. Depending on the time your flight arrives, you will be transferred to Samburu game reserve.

Dinner and Overnight Stay at the Ashnil samburu tented camps

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
Pre Breakfast game viewing drive in the Samburu National Reserve. After breakfast, continue with game viewing till lunch time when you will break till 4.00pm and go for the evening game viewing drive till dusk.

Samburu National reserve is a wild life haven. Here you will sport Africa's big cats-lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Some animals are unique to this northern Kenya Park; gravy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, kudus and gerenuk. The Ewaso Nyiro River, the boundary with the neighboring buffalo spring s national reserve, is where the elephant's buffalo and other animal's species gather for a drink. You will find the scenic semiarid landscape quite dramatic. The reserve is located within the lands of the colorful semi-nomadic Samburu tribesmen.

WaterbuckDay 3: Lake Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast check out and drive on the floor of Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Lake Nakuru National park in the morning hours. On arrival at Lake Nakuru National park proceed for morning game viewing drive in the park before lunch. After lunch proceed for more game viewing drives till dusk. It has some rare animals like white rhinos and Rothschild giraffes.

Lake Nakuru National Park is a sea of flaming pink as far as the eye can see. These are the millions of flamingoes seeking for their food in the salty deep green waters of Lake Nakuru. The protected area is primarily for birds of which 400 to 500 species can be found here including cormorants and pelicans. However visitors to be Lake Nakuru may also catch a glimpse of Thomson gazelles, impala, waterbucks, giraffes, buffaloes or even black rhino and leopards.

RhinoDay 4: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara arriving in time for check in and lunch at the Tented camp. After lunch at 4.00pm go for game viewing drive till dusk.

The Maasai Mara, now the 7th wonder of the world and 4th preferred tourist destination in the world is a home to wildlife in such abundance ad variety that it is difficult to imagine The annual migration of the wildebeest and the zebras from the Serengeti in such of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the predators of the savannah; Lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures is one of the most breathtaking adventures in the world. It hosts over 450 species of animals which includes lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants.

Dinner and overnight at Fig Tree Camp or similar.

CheetahDay 5: Maasai Mara
After breakfast, you will spend a full day game viewing, which includes going up to the Mara River where the immigration of wildebeests and zebras crossing takes place annually from Serengeti, popularly known as the Great Annual Migration. You will then stop for an early picnic lunch and proceed with the drive till dusk.

In November 2006 the Masai Mara was named as the New 7th wonder of the world because of what experts termed as "the uniqueness of the area and the preservation it provides to so many species living in harmony". It is understandable because this annual migration is the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth.

Optional Balloon Flight.

You can opt to carry your early morning game viewing activity on an adventurous balloon flight over the spectacular Mara at an extra cost. This is an experience like no other where you get to see the game and the beauty from a balloon. This package includes a champagne drink in the wild.

All meals and overnight stay at Fig Tree Camp or similar.

ImpalaDay 6: Maasai Mara - Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
Early morning pre breakfast game viewing drive, return to the camp for breakfast, and thereafter depart the Reserve for Amboseli National park through Nairobi with lunch being served at a city Restaurant, arriving at Amboseli in the late afternoon.

Amboseli is famous for its huge elephant herds. Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro sits in the upper slopes of Amboseli national park. Mt Kilimanjaro snow white peaks just across the border of Tanzania. Seeing Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early hours of the morning is quite an experience. For an enthusiastic photographer, animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain is quite a thrill. Apart from the elephants, buffalos, black /rhino and other plain animals are in plenty.

Day 7: Amboseli National Park
Morning and afternoon game viewing drives.

The combination of scenery, people and animals is what makes the park fascinating. Beautifully situated at the foot of the towering Kilimanjaro, it is the home of the brightly painted Maasai tribe. You may be able to see lions, cheetahs, spotted hyena and wild dogs. Also the Kaffir Buffaloes, Burch ells zebras and the herds of elephants. All this animals come to drink water at the water holes consisting of small lakes or muddy bonds kept filled up by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro.

All meals and overnight stay at the Kibo Safari Camp or similar.

Day 8: Amboseli National Park – Mombasa Beach
You will enjoy a pre breakfast game viewing drive, after breakfast depart for Mombasa for a beach holiday with a game viewing drive and packed lunch being served en route. You will arrive in the evening in time for check in and dinner at your beach resort.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Indiana Beach Resort or similar

Day 9: Mombasa Beach
After breakfast these days are spent at leisure on this beautiful stretch of white sands. You can opt to visit Mombasa town as you explore some ancient historical sites such as Fort Jesus, at an extra cost. You can also spend the day visiting curio shops or taking a bicycle ride on the beach.

All meals and Overnight Stay at Indiana Beach Resort or similar

Day 10: Mombasa Beach – Nairobi – Departure
After breakfast, you will spend the morning at leisure then check out of your resort at 11.00am and start the departure to Nairobi. You will stop over for lunch en route and then proceed arriving in the evening. You will be dropped off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your departure flight to your next destination.
