Mombasa City Tour - Full Day

Highlights: This is a full day excursion to discover still lively past of an incredible city with its old market, the Arabs quarter the ancient port and the traditional dhows, visit the new city with its modern building . Take a guided tour to visit principal landmarks including Akamba Wood Carving Village, a Hindu Temple, Fort Jesus Museum, Old Town, Vegetable Market and Biashara Street for souvenir shopping.


This excursion starts from your beach resort in the morning after breakfast when our tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your resort.This tour gives you chance to learn about the Swahili culture, with a visit to the old town and a local ‘Swahili’ museum. You will visit the sea front and the ferry. The tour presents some of the best highlights of this colorful old city. Your tour will visit the bustling fruit and vegetable market, which has been in operation since colonial old days as you wonder the streets of the old Arab town. You will see the intricate hand carved doors, and balconies hanging over the narrow streets, unchanged for hundreds of years. Protecting the harbor stands Fort Jesus which was built by the Portuguese 400 years ago, to protect their interest in East Africa. See how it went from fort to prison to tourist attractions; walk under the famous Elephant tusks on Moi Avenue, which you probably have seen in those old Africa adventure movies.

After the tour, you will be back to your beach hotel in time for your dinner. You will have your lunch at the Mombasa City center restaurant.

Wasini and Kisite Dhow (South Coast) - Full Day Trip

Highlights: This is a full day safari in Wasini Island and Kisite Marine Park from your beach hotel. You will be picked and dropped at your beach hotel and travel in a tour van.


Pick up at hotel at 0600hrs to arrive at Shimoni jetty at low tide. There will be a ferry trip to cross you to the South Coast, stopping over for breakfast at a Beach hotel.

You will later proceed to the historical small fishing village of Shimoni driving via coastal settlements with views of palm trees, cashew nuts, mango trees, and rice paddies.On arrival at the Shimoni village, we pay our marine park fees and board the motorized dhows for a cruise in the marine park and the surrounding Kisite, Mpunguti Islands.

We will snorkel and marvel at the rich marine life where corals, exotic fish and sea plants are protected. As we sail in the calm waters, we will be on the lookout for the resident dolphins that approach the dhow and with their gymnastics, beckon us to join them for a swimming duel.

At Wasini Island, we will disembark and take a discovery stroll through the Island and its pure Swahili culture also visiting the giant coral garden and the adjacent mangrove swamp forest. Our guide will give us an in depth oration throughout the tour.

Later, we will settle down for an adventurous barbeque seafood lunch with local Swahili accompaniments. After a short reflective siesta, we board our dhows for the sea trip to the Shimoni jetty. Time permitting; we visit the Shimoni caves where slaves were “stored” during the old slave trading days before shipment to the Zanzibar slave market.

Bombolulu Workshop - Full Day

After breakfast, you will be driven to the Bombolulu curio workshop. This is the Akamba wood carving center. Here you can purchase a fine hand carved African memento that you would have to pay so dearly for back at home. This is a project mainly for the handicapped people. The industry helps these people with skills to make different handcrafts like jewels and carvings plus clothes. They also run a cultural center- which you will be able to visit. Lunch will be served at a city restaurant or at a hotel. Proceed with your visit after lunch. After the visit you will be back to the hotel.

Fort Jesus and Jumba Ruins

After Breakfast, you will be driven for the morning visit to Fort Jesus. The ruins are believed to have been a home for the Arabs between 13th-15th centuries. They still stand as they were left and they display one of the best historical sites in the coast. Lunch at trekkers' restaurant which is on the way to Jumba ruins. Visit one of the local schools before you disembark.

Arabuko Sokoke Forest - Kenya

After breakfast, you will be driven to the Arabuko Sokoke forest near Watamu which is one of the remaining untouched natural forests in Kenya. It has the biggest bird life. The community around is today involved with one of the best butterfly farming projects within this forest.

Kenyan Jungle Night- (Mamba Village & Dhow): (Farewell night) - Kenya

This is a night full of Kenyan traditional entertainment, with a complete Maasai B.BQ dinner around a bonfire. Mamba Village hosts Africa's largest crocodile farm. Your visit will coincide with feeding time at 5:00pm. Spend the evening aboard a traditional Arab dhow, enjoy music, romance and fine food. As the dhow leisurely cruises in old Mombasa Harbor past peaceful creeks flowing from the island you will dine on a sumptuous seafood meal. Later you can dance under the stars. The black African night, the stars as you have never seen them, music, and the sound of water against the dhow sets the mood for romance. As you cruise you can almost sense bygone time when life went at a much slower pace. Later join and dance to the traditional and modern African beats at the trekker's entertainment complex. Trip Highlights: This is a seven days camping safari into some of the best
wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya and Tanzania. This trip will start at Jomo
Kenyatta International Airport after your arrival; take you onto Maasai
Mara National Reserve, scene of the greatest spectacle of the animal
kingdom - the annual migration of thousands of wildebeest. You will be able
to see plenty of wildlife varying from Kenya's big five; the lion,
elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the cheetah among a host of other different
animal species. You will proceed to Tanzania into Lake Manyara, Olduvai
Gorge and Ngorongoro Crater. You will travel in a minibus in Kenya and a
shuttle and Land cruisers or SUVs in Tanzania. You will stay in tents under
canvas and tented camps while on this safari and tour by a minibus.


Day 1: Arrival- Nairobi- Maasai Mara National Reserve.
On your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by
our Tour Manager who will brief you on your safari as you depart for Maasai
Mara National Reserve arriving in Narok in the Maasai Plains where you
partake lunch. (Assuming your flight arrives in the morning) Continue
driving south west to arrive at the camp in the mid afternoon and then
depart for an evening game viewing drive till dusk.

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve (Full Day)
After breakfast, experience the magical Masai Mara; with a morning and an
afternoon Game drives, taking your packed lunch in the park. You will
continue for a visit to the Masai villages in the afternoon and get to
learn their way of living.

You can opt to carry out your game viewing activity on an adventurous and
unforgettable balloon flight over the spectacular Mara at an extra cost.

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve- Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we continue to Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzania
through Namanga, the Kenya -Tanzania boarder for a game drive and picnic lunch along the way.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park
Have morning and afternoon game drives at the National park. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Arrive at Simba campsite for the night

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park- Olduvai Gorge
Wake up early for a morning game drive in the African sunrise. Return to
the camp for breakfast, followed by another game drive before proceeding to Olduvai Gorge with picnic lunch en route.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a tour with picnic

Kenya Ornithological Safari Birding in Central Kenya – 14 Days/ 13 Nights

Day 2: Nairobi Area
After breakfast, depart for your birding activity starting point from Nairobi Museum. Bird watch in this beautiful city until mid morning, you will be picked and be driven to Nairobi National park for more birding activities. Have your picnic lunch at observation point as you observe game or at Makoyeti Gorge observation point. Continue your birding activity in the park including the adjacent Nairobi Safari Walk .Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Nairobi – Embu
After an early breakfast drive past the third largest pineapple plantation in the world owned by Delmonte firm to Embu for your birding activity at Irangi Forest. Lunch is enroute. Dinner and overnight at Izaak Walton Inn

Day 4: Mount Kenya National Park
After an early breakfast drive further north to Mount Kenya National Park birding en route. Arrive at Mountain lodge in good time for lunch. Have your afternoon at leisure as you view the game such as buffaloes, forest hogs, and bush pigs and luckily enough you might spot lions too as they come to drink water near the natural salt lick. Day 5: Mount Kenya National Park
After breakfast have you birding activities at the forest trails the better part of the morning. The different habitats, that is, the montane forest, the montane grassland, the bamboo and the moorland, Look out for globally threaten species such as lesser Kestrel, Sharpe's Long claw, Abbott's Starling, Jackson's Widow bird. Day 6 - 9: Mount Kenya National Park – Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast travel further north passing the equator and arrive in this prestigious park. Check in at Samburu Serena Lodge and, later in the afternoon have a game viewing drive as you bird watch. You may also have a chance to spot the special five that is beisa oryx, grevy zebra, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. All meals at Samburu Serena lodge

Day 11-12: Aberdare National Park.
After breakfast drive to Aberdare national park via Outspan hotel in Nyeri to be transferred by lodge vehicle to tree tops located in the Aberdare national park after lunch. at treetops lodge’s water hole look out for many water birds and wading birds which may include familiar and common species such as the black-headed heron, hammer kop, yellow-billed stork, African green ibis and the hadada ibis. Day 13: Outspan – Nairobi
After breakfast drive to Outspan hotel and collect your excess luggage left at the hotel and drive back to Nairobi. Have a stop over at fourteen falls. Have your lunch at Thika. Drive to Nairobi and check in your hotel. You will be transferred to carnivore restaurant for dinner. After dinner you will be transferred back to your hotel for overnight.
Overnight at Norfolk or a similar hotel

Day 14: Departure
After breakfast bid farewell to Kenya as you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight.

Trip Highlights: This is a 14 days and 13 nights safari to Tanzania; the safari begins at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and ends in Zanzibar. You may have a chance to see various species of animals including the famous big five and numerous bird life. You will travel in a 4x4 land cruiser and stay in lodges and Hotels while on this safari.

Day 1: Arrival- Arusha National Park
You will be met by our tour manager at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania and brief you on your safari. You will then be transferred to Arusha National Park where you will check in at your lodge and after freshening up, depart for a game viewing drive and spend the rest of the day game viewing. You will have all your lunch in the wild.
Arusha National Park where you may easily see the acrobatic colobus monkeys, the Ngurdoto crater whose rocky and steep enclose a wide marshy floor dotted with herds of buffalo and warthog. Leopards and spotted hyenas may also be spotted and the Momela lakes sometimes tinged pink with thousands of flamingoes with different birds. Giraffes, herds of Zebras and dik dik can also be found.

Day 2 Arusha-Ngorongoro Crater
After your morning breakfast at the lodge, transfer to Ngorongoro Crater. After checking into your lodge, perched high on the crater rim allowing dramatic views into the crater, you will descend the crater walls and spend the remainder of the day viewing wildlife on the crater floor. You will have lunch in the wild.

Ngorongoro conservancy is located between the Serengeti and Lake Manyara. The area covers about 8.300 kms including Olduvai Gorge, Lake Ntutu and Masek and a series of volcanoes most of which are inactive. It is home to the famous volcanic Ngorongoro crater which is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. The crater, 610 metres deep and 260 kms is a microcosm of East African scenery and game and is usually visited on the way back from the Serengeti to Arusha. Scenic grandeur and stunning views are the hallmark of this wonder of the world. Lake Natron is an alkaline lake known for the high population of flamingoes that gather here at the end of the rain season. Ngorongoro enjoys an incredible variety of animals, vegetation from grasslands, swamps, forests, saltpans and lakes. There are 25,000 larger animals within the crater itself, mostly Zebra and wildebeest. However, this is undoubtedly the best place to see black rhino in Tanzania as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-maned males. There are lots of colourful flamingoes and a variety of other water birds around the soda lake on the crater floor. More than a 100 species of bird not found in the Serengeti have been found in the crater. Other game includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, elephants, warthog, impala, buffalo, hartebeest, eland, reedbuck, Thompson gazelles.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti national Park
Have a pre breakfast game viewing drive and after breakfast you will depart for Serengeti national Park with a stop en route at Olduvai Gorge.. After check in at your lodge, you will have lunch and after lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive till dusk in the famous Serengeti National Park.

Serengeti is flourishing with magnificent wildlife. Serengeti is known as one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in the world and an estimated 3 million large animals roam the plains. The Serengeti boasts large herds of antelope including Patterson’s eland, Zebra, gazelles, lion, leopard, Cheetah, Hyena, Impala, and large herds of giraffes. Nearly 500 species of birds have been recorded in the park. The Serengeti is an opportunity for one of the best game- viewing in Africa. You will return to your lodge for a sumptuous lunch to gather strength for the afternoon game drive. After the afternoon game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: Serengeti- Arusha-Zanzibar
Have a pre breakfast game viewing drive in the park and after breakfast, depart for Arusha where you will have lunch and to Dar-es-Salaam where you will take a speed boat to Zanzibar. Lunch will be served enroute. You will arrive in Zanzibar in the evening. You will be transferred to your hotel check in, and have dinner and overnight.

OR Optional - Balloon Flight:
You can opt to have your game viewing on an adventurous and unforgettable balloon flight on the spectacular Serengeti at an extra cost. This package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild and a souvenir flight certificate.

Day 5-11: Zanzibar (7 Days)
Relax, swim and sunbathe on the beaches of the North Coast or at the hotels own swimming pool. The hotels offer daily boat trips. Furthermore you can do walks on the beach, bicycling, snorkeling and more. At one of those days we will bring you to Mnemba Island for snorkeling at Zanzibar’s most famous reef.

After breakfast transfer to the Dhow Palace. On the way you will do the famous Spice Tour. We have developed a special Spice Tour with in depth information not only about spices, but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description about their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking. After the tour we invite for an opulent lunch at our guides' home, where you can taste the spices and fruits.

Overnight at Dhow Palace

Day 13
Today we will show you Stone Town on our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People's Palace), Dr Livingston's House and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar's bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals and countless mosques!
