Africa Transit Tours

Flights through Africa can be delayed due to connections and shortage of planes flying to various places. Most African states do not own planes as such the few planes are shared within this continent. As this is the case most times, travelers have to wait for hours, a day or days before they can connect to their next destinations. Visitors have to wait at the airports lounges and hotels doing nothing but reading books and sipping several cups of coffee while wallowing within the cafeterias and duty free shops. The airlines do accommodate travellers whose flight connections take over a day in various city hotels. Visitors then have no alternative but to wait as long as is required, bored and idle in their hotel rooms.

In view of the above, Niche Africa holidays have transit tours which are excursions for hours within a city and short safaris out of the various cities which can take a day or two depending to a travelers scheduled flight time table.

East Africa Transit Tours and Safaris

East Africa currently comprises of five countries namely, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania which includes Pemba and Zanzibar. Within these countries of East Africa, every country has its own airport which is a gateway into and out of every country. The Airports are mostly at the Capital cities of these countries. Travellers, mostly from foreign countries have to wait for hours in order to connect to various states since there are shortages of flights. They have to wait for hours if not days to travel to their next destinations.

Since there are various tourist sites within reach from the airports of cities in East Africa, Niche Africa Holidays have developed transit excursions, tours and short Safaris to various game parks , community and cultural centers including beaches for transit traveller to pass time while waiting for the next schedule flight. The East African cities where these transit tours take place are; Nairobi and Mombasa in Kenya, Dar es Salaam and Arusha in Tanzania, Entebbe in Uganda and Kigali in Rwanda.

Kenya Transit Tours and safaris

Kenya, a country regarded as the most peaceful and touristic in Africa hosts Nairobi City, its capital city as a hub for nearly all flights into and out of Africa. It is in Nairobi City where you will first land from many parts of the world for you to connect to your destination whether into or out of Africa.
